I wouldn't mind the lack of checkpoints so much if you put more health refills in between. Aside from enemy drops and that one E-tank, I only saw about half a life bar's worth of energy in your stage. This stage was interesting, enemy placement was fine, visuals were decent, overall there was a nice traditional feeling. Problem is, it suffers a lack of checkpoint. I really liked that stage, the teaching was very neat with the main gimmicks and enemies and then you begin to use them in very creative ways through the stage. There was a platforming section with the drills where it had a ring gimmick platform so the drill doesn't break it, that was very creative!...

The bug is related to footholders, sometimes you can just fall through while walking on them. Okay then... at the beginning of the stage in the first 3 screens, I found the solid phase, much like a level design that the capcom would do in some MM GB Game, but then while I continue the stage it only gets worse and worse as enemies that only appear once or only on a screen and I hated the part...
