If any weapon got nerfed way too hard in MMM, its Needle Cannon. Have fun trying to get anywhere fast with high HP enemies and mid-bosses. If there is one weapon deserves to be nerfed it be the saw blades from megaman 2, the energy goes down too slow for such an overpowered weapon. I might be wrong...

Sometimes a rewrite of the entire game engine is necessary when it becomes more difficult to add additional content or fix major bugs. I kind of know that from experience.

The ability to switch to megaman 1 style spike physics in toggable form on each individual spike. Split backgrounds on horizontal and verticle, and music change between levels. Water being used as a background object so that spikes and objects can exist on the same parts of the screen that the water...

Also on the flip side of the coin then couldn't a strong weapon be nerfed too much to make it unusable ? It's the same position, instead now it's the weapon's fault instead of the level design at fault. I would think the standard baseline for a weapon should be it's canonical strength from it's ori...

I have to say rush marine megaman 3, rush marine megaman 4, rush jet megaman 3, balloon adapter megaman 4, wire megaman 4, and rush drill megaman 3 version but modified to work in megaman maker.

Or better yet a warning system that goes through the level and checks if a bug was used or not in the level design. Say for example a level was built in 1.4 with bug x and receives a warning that bug x was patched in 1.6 do you still wish to play this level yes or no?
