As I understand it, it is entirely possible to place two instances overtop one another in Game Maker Studio . However, it is not currently possible to do so in Mega Engine . To allow this would likely require a pretty aggressive re-write of that part of the engine, which would likely result in level...

I know this game is intended to look 8-bit in it's art style to respect the roots of Mega Man, and that's part of the reason why I enjoy it so much, but does that require it to limit itself in terms of 8-bit capability ? Because in the editor, the LEVEL NAME field is simply the name of the file to be saved. If you name your level "CAVE OF DOOM", then save your level, it will save as "cave of doom.mmlv" in the level directory. Yeah, sure.
Near the bottom of your level in the text editor, there's a line that say 1f="x.000000".
Change that number. I believe it corresponds to the same id numbers the bosses have.
