Re: Has the Devil Concept Been Done to Death?

It mostly depends on your preference. I always like seeing a certain enemy appear as a staple in the series, after all the Wily Capsule boss has existed since MM4, but given the memories that people who played the first game have with the big yellow guy, and I am one of those people, the first game ...

THE SNIVY OVERLORD couldn't be here, so we have a JPG of it instead.

How far we've gone.

I should just make this a reminder that WreckingPrograms, who used to be known as WreckingGoomba by the way, was the creator of the Mega Engine for Game Maker 8.1 and Game Maker Studio, and he turned that project into a full release fan game that doesn't take much experience to know how to use. That...

Re: Concept Thunderclaw Level - Feedback Wanted

Thunderclaw vs springman just seems like it'd be annoying and might put your stage in a bad light. You can change the boss to someone else, however if you absolutely want to keep him you can also put a weapon capsule on the other side of the locked door after you beat knightman. Maybe you can use t...

Concept Thunderclaw Level - Feedback Wanted

I've been slowly getting back into making levels in the spirit of SMM2 being around the corner, so I figured I'd get some community input. I tried to remove certain fails I had, so enjoy.

I never really realized it, but Simon Belmont is such a badass in his victory poses.

Honestly I expected it, since there tends to be latency issues with NS Online. I usually play with friends locally anyway.

Re: Sheep Blocks and Bari III

This doesn't seem like the same game anymore, in a good way. A sequel to a maker game usually has the same stuff as the previous plus more.

What? Yeah I predownloaded SMM2.

Re: Discussion: The ban on lootboxes and microtransactions.

Lootboxes are gambling, but microtransactions on their own are not gambling. When they show you what you're buying, you know what you're paying for.

Re: worst mm stages

Brazen will hate me for this, but almost every stage in Mega Man 2. Keep in mind the "almost" part. I still think stages like Wood Man, but almost every stage has a major design problem, namely, the game being heavily reliant on trial and error for new players. Even the hardest sections in the origi...

Re: Controller discussion

I've had some issues with the NRS controller, mostly because my hands are gigantic, but I feel like if you look at the NES controller and have never seen one before, you'd say "Yeah, that makes sense."

Re: Version 1.5.5.1

More controller problems. Now the plus button on the Switch Pro works, but the D-Pad doesn't. I tend to use the stick, which is assigned automatically, but I can't map movement to the one thing that was designed solely for movement.

Lack of Ambition killed the level maker.

Essentially, I stopped making levels because I couldn't bring myself to spend time on making levels that the community as a whole seemed to dislike. Share your reasons here, or if you still make levels, keep going.
