Music Change Trigger

Something that would expand the game greatly is the addition of a room object that would trigger a change tn the musical track; especially since the ability to fight multiple robot masters has been implemented. With the ability to swap tracks you could exponentially flesh out the experience.

It might be tricky to make it both an in game item, and a toggle setting, but collecting the item switching it to active, as you said may work.

I think X and others from his series have been suggested before, and the general consensus is that this is exclusively a "classic series" platform... I, personally, would like to see it, and I think the sprite set from the Xtreme titles would lend themselves well to the environment without clashing ...

Exactly! :) The X series handled it by having the alternate being the charge attack once X got the arm parts. So, the precedent is thoroughly established throughout the series already.
