(I know this is all hypothetical) While Funky Kong has the charisma - I think Lanky Kong with the Dhalsim-like reach would make a good fighter in smash.

Flushing this idea out a bit - what if the level designer could hide items and enemies inside the ice blocks. Set up a way to thaw them out (fire/flame weapon) and then the player can do a little treasure hunting. Thaw out ice blocks and get life refill or weapon recharge, or even get a new weapon. ...

one consideration for doors that I have not seen anyone mention yet is that when you go through one (regardless of screen change or not) it resets some of the spawns of level features. The one that comes to mind off the top of my head is bombs. If you trigger and blow up the bomb then go thru a door...

Also, Toad Man only uses Rain Flush if he hasn't taken damage in a while. Try putting him in a harder to reach location. He actually reacts to your fire inputs, not if he takes damage or not. If you spam the shot, even if you don't hit him (Or even if you have no weapon!), he'll never use it. I've ...
