Metal Heroes Ep 1 (ID#: 386088)

Metal Heroes Ep 1 This level is basically a small game. It takes about 45 minutes to complete a playthrough with Mega Man. Protoman and Bass are also playable. Mega Man has the MM6 Charge Shot and Slide, Protoman is normal and does not take double damage, Bass has his Double Jump. There are 8 boss ...

Re: Megatroid Blast Man (ID#: 384490)

Honestly, this didn't really feel like a Metroidvania at all. It felt more like a dozen short levels taped together. One issue I can call out about this level right off the bat is that you waste so many screens. When building a Metroidvania, you really need to get as much mileage as possible out of...

Re: Megatroid Blast Man (ID#: 384490)

[/quote] - I'm going to be honest with you. This was sooo long to load and then when it finally did, It was pretty slow. I can't play levels that run like molasses, sorry. You really need to start building modular. I know that Metroidvanias are supposed to be completely linked, but it's just not pra...

Megatroid Blast Man (ID#: 384490)

Megatroid Blast Man This is my fourth "Megatroid" Level but also the one that I am most proud of in the sense of it being non-linear. The third level was very linear in comparison much like the second one, but I didn't post the third here as I got right into making the fourth level. It's also the b...

Re: YouTube Gamers who play Levels

I do occasional level plays on my channel. It's been mostly showcasing my own levels, but I will play other's levels if they want me to or even just do random levels.

Re: First Time Posting a Level

I hadn't had the chance to come back and get your feedback...I also just realized that this wasn't my first level ever posted...my second actually. A lot of the criticisms you guys have laid out were actually on my mind as it is, so that works well for the development of my next Megatroid level. I w...

Re: Count Bombs should drop fire in the upcoming MMM 1.6

It came from watching one of Ethervil's livestreams on YouTube. Today's livestream in fact. The Hard Hat 2: War Ensemble fan game I think. We saw the count bombs drop fire which could light oil on fire.

Re: Version 1.5.4

I was playing to Boss Rush example level, and I had just defeated Grenade Man. I was sliding at the same time the key collided with Megaman and the game crashed. I wasn't recording sadly, but this is the error message that I got: ___________________________________________ ##########################...

First Time Posting a Level

So, even though I have been on this forum for a good long while, this is my first time posting one of my levels here for others to try out. This is my second Metroidvania type level and I am currently working on my third. It's called Megatroid Cut Man and I would like some feedback on the level. I'd...

Re: Room Cloning/Deletion

Okay. Why are you not on the development team? You would help with tons of stuff. Because I am not very good at coding. I don't think you exactly need to know coding to be on the dev. You could probably be a guy that comes up with ideas on what to add in the updates? I think that WP already does al...

Re: Room Cloning/Deletion

It's just one of those things that I would really appreciate myself. Since I am making a level to kind of simulate Megaman traveling via spaceship...cloning the rooms helps since I want there to be one entrance and exit for the ship. If we can simply right-click on a room when the map is on screen ...

Room Cloning/Deletion

I did a quick search on the forums and didn't find this topic, though it could just be listed as copy and pasting, but I think that Room Cloning and Room Deletion would be a great asset for the level builder/editor. I was working on a level that ended up being too big and was drastically slowing dow...

Rush Jet despawns if you pause and unpause...not exactly great for levels that require you to stay on Rush and soar from left to right over a bottomless pit.
I completely forgot about that, but yeah, I had a section I paused to walk away for a amount...came back and fell to my death.

Re: Version 1.0.4

I found this bug while i was working on my big level (which I am excited to be sharing in the next few days) and I was using Nado to avoid a pit fall. But it you use Nado and keep hitting the button while being pressed into the ceiling, you will be zipped backwards (teleported) along all of the conn...

Re: Version 1.0.4

This is great, this means I can continue working on my large level. It was lagging all to crap on my both in the editor and while playing it. I just downloaded it so I'm looking forward to working with the new updates. I am going to keep asking for this though...is there a way that an object vertica...

Re: Version 1.0.3

MEMORY LEAK Using the editor for extended periods of time and repeatedly testing and editing stages causes the game to eventually begin to lag, requiring you to restart the game. This is really noticeable on large stages. I have been experiencing this myself...working on a rather large level that I...
