Surfing Situation - ID: 158595

Name : Surfing Situation ID : 158595 Difficulty Warning : Evading attacks and knowing when to change speed while riding Oil Slider is the key to survival, as in most instances, one direct hit will knock you into the sea and cost you a life. Less experienced players will likely die a lot. https://i....

Re: Things To Ban

You'd be surprised, I've seen some people try to port over whole video games over to Mega Man Maker, and try to fit it all into one level.

Some of them have to at least be hitting around 300 screens if not more.

Re: Which robot master should be added in the next update?

Expecting FireMan, ElecMan and OilMan for next major update.

Though, Admittedly, I'd really like more Mega Man 3 Robot Masters, preferably GeminiMan, ShadowMan and SnakeMan.

Re: Regarding bosses

I assume finding a way to implement full-screen bosses and mini-bosses might take some work, but they could probably implement some Wily Capsule fights, and the MM2 Alien Hologram, and give them no collision with placed walls/floors.

Re: Ability to turn pixel-perfect collisions for spikes and enemies

Some of my friends who are into Mega Maker and I think that getting killed by freaking air around the enemy is not fun and having precise, pixel-perfect collisions as an option would lead to levels that rely more on precision and not touching actual spikes and enemies rather than air around them. T...

Re: Crash Man's mining site ID:157281

Played this level early this morning. Early parts of the level feel a little bit too flat and generic, but the later sections get more interesting and fun to play. Could do with a custom boss room at the end, as generic Crash Man is kind of boring to fight in my opinion. Pretty good level overall, I...

Re: What are you playing?

Finished playing through Monster Hunter Stories, including the achievements and post-game. Didn't particularly enjoy the game due to its sloppy feeling battle system. Button quick time events and rock-paper-scissors are not a good base for a turn based battle system in my opinion. Currently playing ...

#5: Sonic 06 Loading Times The loading screens in Mega Maker are just as long as the loading screens in Sonic 06. Not even close. Even on my potato of a laptop (Celeron, intel "hd" graphics) it's very fast. Are you meaning the intro screen, which length kinda depends on how long level's name is? Be...

Re: Idea: More MegaMan themes (Having gameplay macanics from Mega Man X for example)

Two gameboy themes would be nice, being able to play with everything in four shades of gray, or four shades of green, would be pretty cool for those who have nostalgia for the 5 Gameboy games.

Re: Version 1.1.1

Curiosity, where does the sprite of they grey big fish come from? It does not look like its NES MM2 incarnate, but more like its gameboy version. Yet, I can't recall seeing it in any GB games. Though my memory could be bad. Not to mention scanning through sprites inc's site I can't find it there ei...

Re: Tower Climb Redux- NEW BRUTAL EDITION ADDED!

My complaints are legitimate... his level design is broken. You're forced to die to progress the level... how is that good design or even fair? As stated already, the "W8" symbol clearly was referring to "Wait". Alternatively, if a checkpoint was available just before the segment, you could have ea...

The amount of cheese that would spawn from that is ridiculous.
I agree, though the idea of redirecting shots is an interesting one.

I personally prefer a similar idea mentioned in this topic: https://megamanmaker.com/forum/viewtopi ... 9746#p9746

Been a while, so I'll look at the remaining stages since there are more since I first looked at them. Here is some feeback on the remaining stages, hopefully it is useful in some way. Stage 5 - Metal Man * My favourite stage so far. * Really nice level design. * Clever enemy placement that feels fai...

Re: You Gots To Chill (ID:156770)

Really good level overall, some of the enemy placement feels slightly excessive in some spots, but other than that it plays well and looks really nice. if something breaks or glitches let me know. https://i.imgur.com/AiHmvh6.gif It is possible to instantly be killed in this location if you hold in "...

Re: Design VS Gameplay

When I make levels or play levels, I generally prefer the level to be well designed and fun to play.
Beautiful visuals are nice and all, but if it comes at a cost of gameplay, then I'd rather it look visually worse to maintain quality gameplay.

Really good level, it flows well and feels really good to play. There is some really good varierty between the great enemy placement and teleporter puzzles. I also like the transition from night to day through the level, really gives the feeling that time is passing. https://i.imgur.com/l6IMu7z.gif ...

Re: Waste Disposal Facility

Fun level, and decently challenging if you only use the Mega Buster.

Really like how you used the Big Eyes as a makeshift MetalMan Press.

When you said that Hyper Bomb was easy mode, you weren't kidding.
That giant Bomberman-style cross-shaped explosion just destroys everything.
