Re: Wild West Or Something (ID:5641)

Despite the simplicity in this level's design, it feels like a very solid and well designed level with a very clear level theme. It reminds me of the level design from official games like Mega Man 3.

Re: Electric Madness (ID:44769)

I love this level. Difficulty is not too hard, but also not too easy. The choices for visuals with the limited tilesets and backgrounds was really well done, brought a lot of life to the level visually. The central gimmick of the level was clear and used well, and expanded upon through the entire le...

Re: SCREWS AND BOLTS!

The only realistic way I can see a shop and currency system functioning well in Mega Maker, is if it was set up somewhat similar to this: 1. Currency collected in a level does not carry over to other levels. Currency obtained can only be spent in the same level they are received in. When the level e...

Re: So what's the most effecient/best way to edit your levels.

Once a level is uploaded, you can't edit the uploaded version of the level at all. If you made changes/improvements to the level, and want others online to see it, you need to upload the new version of the level separately. You can only have ten levels uploaded to your account at a time, so its best...

Re: SCREWS AND BOLTS!

The reason why the main Mega Man games have a currency and shop system is because they are a collection of levels grouped together where things collected and done in one level carry on to the next level you play. This is why Mega Man gradually gets more robot master weapons and upgrades through his ...

Re: Upload Limit

I have no problem with the upload limit.

Even if there was not a limit to server space for level uploading, having a level upload limit encourages quality over quantity when it comes to player uploads, and as such limits the uploads of lower quality levels, at least somewhat.

Re: Hop Hop Ruins - ID: 25796

I really liked this level. The level design is pretty well done. The gimmick the level is based on is well focused on all the way through the level (excluding the boss room) and applied in many interesting ways. The level's main gimmick has a tutorial of sorts to teach the player close to the beginn...

Re: Metal Panic (ID 20833)

Pretty good level overall. I'm personally not a big fan of levels based on quick lasers, but this level was far more tolerable than most that I have tried so far with it as the main central gimmick. One of the room seems like its impossible to proceed without purposefully taking damage. The quick la...

Re: Sweet Slides | A Sliding Level

This was a really fun gimmick for a level.
Trying to multitask dodging projectiles, destroying bombs and trying to not scroll bombs off screen making them reset was a very fun and interesting challenge.

Re: Forest Fire | ID: 34360

I feel this level is held back slightly by the overuse of the bland brick tiles in some areas but other than that, it was pretty good, despite its low difficulty.

Also, found the secret room, you're welcome.

Re: Redrock Mine (Level ID: 45097)

ID 45097 is no longer valid, level seems to have been moved to ID 50358. No lag in the level at all as far as I could tell. Interesting use of secret rooms. Really like the visual design of the level, and the music was also a fitting choice, The waterfall area seemed slightly out of place because it...

Re: Fortress of Envy / ID: 92223

This is one of the most fun Crash Bomb focused levels I've ever played. The creative use of (and sometimes non-use of) the Crash Bomb made for some really interesting and entertaining platforming and combat segments. getting a preview of sections of the level during the long fall was a neat touch. T...

Re: An option to AND multi-word searches, and search by author

Sometimes I play a level I really like but forget the level's name but remember the creator's name, and due to the keyword searching not being able to search for level titles including "all words" or "multiple words" you typed into the search, making digging for the level really annoying, or flat ou...

Re: In the heart of the machine [ID: 7974]

Fun level overall. Not overly difficult. Nice use of Checkpoints. Really creative take on the Spark Man boss. Weapons and tools can be useful in some sections, but I never found them absolutely necessary to complete the level. (I prefer to go through levels Mega Buster/Default Weapon only whenever p...

While saving a downloaded level in the editor will change ownership (no modifications needed), it still won't let you upload it.
Ah, thanks for clarification, I was not aware of this. Good to know.

Re: Version 1.0.4

There's a pretty significant bug regarding loading levels with the same name. It looks like if you play a level with the same name as a level you've already played in the same session, the game will load the earlier-played level rather than the one you're trying to play. I'm running the Level Desig...

http://i.imgur.com/XnnIPNn.png Already in place, even if modifications are made. If plagiarism happened, the creator had to build the levels from scratch. If plagiarism didn't happen, they probably changed their username (that's what we can do). I believe it is actually quite easy to steal/reupload...

Re: Version 1.0.4

Not sure if this is a glitch or intentional behaviour, but sometimes when placing teleporters, their teleport destination will go out of bounds beyond what the level designing grid allows. http://i.imgur.com/4eKCh6D.png Warping to these out of bounds places seems to warp Mega Man to a few block upwa...

Re: What's up with the default music?

MegaMaker -> Music -> Misc -> Editor.nsf Replace the Editor.nsf file in the folder with another .nsf audio file of your choice, being sure to make sure you rename the new file to also be Editor.nsf so that Mega Maker can recognize it. Alternatively, you could just turn off the music in the editor ou...
