Why not just make the Thunder Wool act like the Brick Drop weapon? Just have it start in the air instead of coming straight out of the buster.

Adding the crushers only served to make sure the player has to get hurt. If the crusher doesn't hurt you, the tellies will (the game tells you what they're called btw). I think you're missing the point here. The level is suppose to be a classic Mega Man level. You SHOULD be able to defeat it easily if you know what you're doing. The weapons are there because you are picking them up from prior levels in the game but you don't have to use them. The boss is a standar...

Recently I've started with tiles for the floors, ceilings, hazards and pits leading up to the boss room, and then I place enemies and powerups.

This is level is actually worse. Probably the only real gimmick I see here is loads of enemies and unfair environments. So good job on that I guess.
