Re: Weapon Analysis - Power Stone

Your weapon analysis posts belong on the official MMM Wiki. This is great stuff. The people who edit the wiki could go in depth like I do, but they choose not to. Additionally, if this type of information was on the wiki, then people could just go and read it there, and this Weapon Analysis series ...

Re: Mega Man 11's Anniversary

I have to say I'm getting a little bit concerned at this point. We're one week shy of being almost 2 months without a peep from the Devs.

I hope everyone is Ok.

Re: (most) Metroidvanias suck (Extreme rant warning)

That's why most of us ever heard of Super Metroid first, because it was the realization of all the wonderful things that Metroid 1 was aiming for and failed. I was there when original Metroid released, didn't get to play it though until about (EDIT: correction) three years later when my older broth...

Re: (most) Metroidvanias suck (Extreme rant warning)

How a game ages is an essential point of reviewing. To a degree. Though what one reviewer finds attractive qualities in a given game, doesn't translate to the next reviewer. What you personally may find appealing in a game may not resonate to the next person. To ergo wholeheartedly purport unilater...

Re: (most) Metroidvanias suck (Extreme rant warning)

... Please continue ranting against one of my favorite genre’s. You sir, have good taste. Metroid II on Gameboy is actually a great game. The scope and ambition on such a weak handheld is rather inspiring. - Passwords done away with in favor of save files. - Map design and progression is more linea...

Re: Mega Man 11's Anniversary

Lack of teasers/progress updates is probably stoking the fires of impatience. ... the problem is they made the announcements too early, when the update was far from finished (when we had already learned to associate the announcements with the update being close to release) Looking at the announceme...

Re: Mega Man 11's Anniversary

Can you all calm down and just wait for the release? I second this statement. Patience is a virtue. All things come to those who wait. Agreed. Though not everyone is patiently waiting. Some of the fans are a little bit rabid, but looking at the glass half full that's a sign of strong engagement (th...

Terra was obviously a miss, but I'm pretty sure I got it right this time. https://i.imgur.com/u2Ik649.png  You're killing me smalls!!! Truth be told I wouldn't mind see Duo added to the roster of playable characters. I would think his moveset from MM8 coupled with the ability to use RM p...

Re: Mega Man 11 goes Platinum

Mega Man Battle Network 4 How on earth did that game break a million sales!? Its easily the worst MMBN game by far (IMO anyways). Maybe it's success is built off the game before it? 🤔 Live-action = SUCK ... So no... DON'T look forward to a live-action movie! Just don't. I dunno... Maybe it won't be...

Mega Man 11 goes Platinum

I would think this is good news. This makes Mega Man 12 a very likely possibility. ;) As highlighted by Rockman Corner, Capcom’s Platinum Titles list documents that Mega Man 11 has now sold 1 million copies and counting. Of Capcom’s all-time top-selling games, this title is currently placed at #89. ...

UPDATE: Here is my visual aid to better explain on the proposed Mega Man Universe alternate skin for MMM. That is if alternate skins for MM are ever introduced.... https://i.ibb.co/6ggmMLS/example-1-WITH-GLOW.png https://i.ibb.co/cYR0kPt/example-2-WITHOUT-GLOW.png No idea if this engine supports tr...

Re: 1.6 is taking a while, huh?

...Otherwise, every next update is going to take longer to come out than the last, and I can see this time inflating to the point it may take several years for a new update to come out! I doubt it'll ever come to that. Why do I doubt it? Because if a hobby becomes a non-paying time consuming job it...

Re: MM7, 8, 9 Robot Master Flashback (Patch 1.7 and beyond)

Here's some sprite work Zedicon did before he ever joined the MMM team featuring conversions of Robot Masters from MM7 and MM8 (as well as others). Excellent work, so great. ❤️

Re: 1.6 is taking a while, huh?

Its been 5 months since they first announced the 1.6. preview. Hmmm, maybe developing something new i suppose. Perhaps something in MM11... 1.5 was released on Mar 26 2019 so it's been 7 months and 13 days since a last major release of Mega Man Maker. And yeah... I can't help but suspect something ...

Re: A small aesthetic change

Mega Man's default Blue/Cyan colour palette is different in MM9-MM10, in comparison to MM1-MM6, the person is asking for the ability to be able to use the alternate Mega Man colour palette. That said, Proto Man has also gone through various palette changes as well, such as using a noticeably more p...

Re: Mods and how they work?

Adding custom content to a game adds so much life to the experience for everyone. Texture and sound mods seem to be the simplest because it's built upon existing assets of a game. I've played (and modded) many PC games over the years with that mod support built in. If only Mega Man Maker had that ab...
