The life of something

How to play:

It is a little similar to "writing a story".

Start off by introducing the character. It could be anything but please do not use real characters or ones that are already from other series. No self inserts. "Original" characters mainly but it can be an object like a plant, or even a place! As long as its something that "dies" or has an end to it.

The story has to focus on the main character. Not really into background characters. Fictional or real life characters can be added to provide some interaction and flexibility for the story. Do not cut to a different random segment of the story, Its focused on the character only.

You cannot resurrect a dead character in the game. No immortality, no godmode.

It is discouraged to kill off a character early during its introduction. (Recommended limit would be 2 pages on one character.)

If you created that character, everyone has the right to change stuff to the character. You do not entirely "own" them, but they can do this without permission. Just do not say "oh this character isn't supposed to be like that.", play along.

No afterlife story, story cannot continue after death. But you can however create a brief epilogue that explains the judgement of that person, whether they go to heaven or hell. (maximum posts are 3 per epilogue)

Example:

Player 1: There was a bowler hat man.

Player 2: He lived in a mansion with 10 kids.

(8 Posts later)

Player 10: The man died when a piano fell on top of him.

Create another character afterwards.

Lets start it!

One day, as part of a black market sale, someone hid a kilogram of uranium encased in protective lead in the trash can.

A highly respected museum curator, the buyer of the uranium encased in lead, took the item out of the trashcan and slipped a wallet of unknown contents into the Trashcan.
The Trashcan felt relieved to be rid of the uranium encased in lead, but was uneasy about what could be inside the wallet.

Unable to find any food, the raccoon became curious about the contents of the wallet. The trashcan was not pleased with the raccoon's presence, so it ejected the raccoon. Unfortunately, the raccoon had already emptied the contents inside of the trashcan. The trashcan was in shock as he discovered that the contents of the wallet...

There was a photo album of a family holiday inside the wallet. The trashcan had felt that their life was boring and wanted to do something fun.

Then, the mall cops saw the racoon, and saw that it would ruin their classy image. However, being incredibly dumb, they tried to shoot the racoon, missed, and hit the garbage can, causing it to fall into an elevator shaft.

The can fell for a while, scared for its life; It couldn't possibly know where the shaft would take it! Eventually, though, it bounced off of the top of a rising elevator, tumbling into a room. And that room was....

A bathroom that looked like it was in a horror movie. There was some dry blood in there, and a unidentifiable corpse. The Trash can felt scared.

In a panic, the trashcan somehow manages to throw itself into a wall. The wall falls in a thud, revealing a movie studio. The perturbed director jumps up from his seat and approaches the intruding trashcan.

The trash can heard that the director would make it an actor, but really, the trash can misinterpereted the words but it really meant stage prop for that trash can.

The trash can then signed a contract with the director which made it the lead stage prop in a movie version of Star Fox, but there was a hidden clause in page 247 of the contract that stated...

... suddenly emitted a noxious (but not deadly) cloud of trash gas. This caused everyone else present in the room to faint.

The cloud filled the whole studio so much that emergency had to come. The police arrested the trash can and was arrested for sabotage and was sentenced to:

At the director's dismay, the judge declared that the death sentence couldn't be carried out, due to the trashcan not being alive in the first place. To prevent the director from suing the court, the judge came up with this alternative, but equally as effective sentence:
