Sliding into 1-tile tunnels from ladders.
For me, nailing it is
always a matter of luck. Yet it's still quite a prominent feature amongst many
Mega Man Maker levels... and I can't quite understand one thing:
why level designers still use it? To provide a challenge factor / indirectly cause a little bit of frustration / make the player unleashing F-bombs left and right / [
insert anything else here]?
Heh...
SunSwagger is kinda stupid for the username based on the avatar, so I'm back to being called
Casual Builder full-time. Just finally got used to that nickname over the course of many months, that's all.

Now I wanna know... how many players use the slide button, and how many use down + jump to slide?

I use slide button all the time. in this game It's just that the older games like MM 1-6 never had a 3rd button, so it's kind of hard to remember that newer games have more buttons? That's my only guess on this.

Just a few buds hangin' out

As you can see in the above GIF, I was doing it the old-fashioned way (
Down+Jump).
That's a humbling experience knowing that you have an extra
Slide/Dash button...

Soooooooo I'm gonna join the Extra Button Club now.
Yeah... any level designer who puts this gimmick into their levels are totally aware (and fully using) Slide/Dash button, while others... not so much. I have
no idea how many players would go with the extra button, and how many are don't.
Heh...
