It actually doesn't have tile overlap. The first setting you show was done with text editing. I don't know the details on how to do it.

If you are editing a level, you must proceed with caution to avoid corrupting the level. The development team doesn't respond for difficulties with modified levels.

Sorry for my small topic derailment, but I can't help seeing the autotiler problems in the square Gemini Man tiles.

Sure would be handy if there was an option of enabling this sort of level building in MMM without a second supplemental outside tool.

Like having the current method of level building as "Default" and a second option a user could choose as "Advanced" in the MMM settings.

As stated by others, the tile work shown is not normally possible due to the way Mega Man Maker's auto-tiler functions.

The tile work was done either by text editing the level, by opening a .MMLV file in compatible text programs and manually editing the values in the file, or via a developer unsupported third party tool that automates text editing via an interactive user interface (such as "MMLV Editor").

I know it is not possible to this without text editing or MMLV edtior programs.

So, I tried it out with one of my levels. (I used a MMLV edtior for reasons)
yeah
