Are sound mods possible?

Post by UlticraftMTT » Fri Apr 26, 2019 1:48 am

I don't mean NSF replacements, i've already done that a lot.

I mean, is it possible to make a mod to change the sound effects of the game? If it is, i was planning on doing a 1/2/9/10 SFX mod.

Fun fact: the game uses .wav for its sound effects. At least I'm pretty sure it does, I took a look at them when I wanted to replace every sound with Neo-Ridley screaming.
profile pic is an improved version of my hose man mugshot made by MP64/terra (the one i'm using is his version)

You need to decompress the file data.win, find the sounds, replace and recompress the file.
There's a tutorial here of how to do it.
