Personally, I'm predicting that there will be 5 weapons per game for the 1.6 update:
For MM10, we saw Thunder Wool, Commando Bomb, and Wheel Cutter be confirmed. I'm holding out for Rebound Striker and Chill Spike as well, though it's fine if they don't make it.

For MM11, we have Block Dropper, and the weapons I'm hoping make it are Scramble Thunder, Pile Driver, Acid Barrier, and Tundra Storm.

I'm not really interested in anything besides the weapons.
King Knight coming soon.

I fully support your choice of weapons here.

Sorry to tell you this, but I was told that the devs have already said they wouldn't be coming back to MM1-9 in a long while, which makes me think that 1.7 will be focused on either Gameboy content or MM&B (hopefully both), and even then, I believe 1.8 would go back to MM7 and 8 to add more content to it to bring it to par with the amount of content from MM1-6.

I believe they won't go back to MM1-2 until AT THE VERY LEAST update 1.11

Was it a reputable source? Or just random people talking?
which makes me think that 1.7 will be focused on either Gameboy content or MM&B (hopefully both)
MegaMan V offers the most original content of all the Gameboy MM games, hope they'd focus on that one out of all of them, of course along with MM&B. With updates focusing on 2 games each, it would fit perfectly with the dev pattern of 2 game focus per update. It'd be really special to see some Gameboy MM content in color too! :D
and even then, I believe 1.8 would go back to MM7 and 8 to add more content to it to bring it to par with the amount of content from MM1-6.
Hope so. MM7 especially as very few weapons made it into MMM first go-round.

Maybe they'll slip a single weapon from earlier MM games into MMM here and there in subsequent updates. Happened before like say with Shadow Blade in update 1.4 which was primarily focused on MM 6 & 7.

MM1 holds a special place in my heart and hope to see all the robot masters (at least all of the original 6) in MMM someday.

I think they will only focus on the 11 main games (I'm not counting Megaman & Bass) and since they don't have anymore games to work they will back to Megaman 1-11 Until having all content from each game.

I really hope they work on stuff that improves the whole experience instead of just adding neat things that we get bored of fast, like On-Off Switches from PU, Clear Conditions and time restrictions from PU's challenge mode, Bolts (Not shops, but just bolts, i made a post explaining how this might work viewtopic.php?f=6&t=9170) And much more.

The team already added the Reflecting Yoku Block from Mega Man and Bass.
You may warn me about problems in the MMM platforms.
