By the way destroyer. What are your theories? I want to know because they make me curious and distract me from waiting.
DON'T TAKE WHAT I SAY AT FACE VALUE. ONLY ANNOUNCEMENTS OR THE ACTUAL LATEST RELEASE ARE RELIABLE SOURCES

I suspect it may release on late January or during February and that it would have a major game changing element. I think some older enemies may be implemented on the basis that they returned in Mega Man 11 and that some missing Mega Man 8 enemies or Mega Man & Bass enemies would be implemented as well.

That is a good theory, it sounds good.
Although even if it really did, I suspect it will be at the end of a month, since WP never updates the game in the early or middle, except with 1.2.
On the other hand, I am not very comfortable with MM&B but it is an option, although unfeasible, since & B is almost a remake of 8, but welcome by the community and, what do you mean by "basis that they returned in Mega Man 11 "?

There were some NES series enemies that returned in 11, like Tatepakkan, Propeller Eye, Sniper Armor, and Lyric. (I am aware Lyrics are already in the game)

What do you base that claim on?

Also, I speculate 1.6 would come out at the end of March, a full year after 1.5

The minor implementation of MM&B assets in 1.5 makes me think there could be more elements from that game, while I also thought about possible MM8 enemies that couldn't be adapted at the moment.

I understand. Now, for Wrecking and Destroyer, how long does it usually take to program a boss?

I don't believe they will answer you that, but I calculate that (including playtesting and bug-fixing) it may take several weeks, if not even a few entire months, to program an entity as complex as a boss. ESPECIALLY the most advanced bosses like those of MM11.

I believe most of the dev time must go programming and bug-testing the update's main feature, then the bosses, then the stage gimmicks, in order from which one takes up the most time.

Wow, that is a lot of time just to add a boss.
Well, I would like to ask another question for developers: Is it too much to ask if they are done with the coding of the 4 bosses? (And not Royal, I told the developers, so if it's an invalid question, don't try to answer for them that I see you answering other people's questions).

Assuming "get their art if they're already 8 bit or have the art made by our artists" is referring to the Inafune-style artwork of Grenade Man and Astro Man, wouldn't it make more sense to sprite, code, and play test the bosses to make sure they work before making art for them?

I would of thought Bosses would talk a long time to add. Considering how they handle bosses in general.

Okay. Now, Destroyer, do you have any ideas when a new update for MM1 will come? I want to recreate the levels from the first game, but some elements are missing.

You may run into some problems, directly porting MM1 levels to Mega Man Maker.

In MM1 (NTSC), vertically there are 13 whole tiles, with top and bottom most vertical tiles being half-tiles, adding to 14.
In Mega Man Maker, vertically there are 14 whole tiles.

This difference of how the tile grid is setup between Mega Man Maker, and the NES games, could cause complications for porting certain levels over.

Edit: Here is an image comparison as an example:

I have a solution for this : since the top and bottom tiles are halved, just count 2 tile rows for the ground, and normally it should work.

That's really a good question. On the outside looking in we really have no idea what Wrecking and his team have in store, of course the mysteriousness is part of the fun. :)

I can't help but feel that the Devs' goal isn't to bring the entirety of any one Mega Man game to MMM, but rather all the best/useful/unique/memorable/usable parts.

If they ever do go back to add more MM1 (or MM:PU) I can't help but think it'll be in a limited measure.... And while that can be a little disappointing that's still OK, I'm just thankful we have MMM at all. :)

I still hoping for the Junk Blocks, and Junk Block Spawner from Spark Man's stage in MM3.

Keep on dreaming friend, it will take a while until it happens, we don't know how long it will take to get back to MM3.
Ok, let's be realistic.
