The day is finally here, let's wait once again for a Mega Man maker update

I'm more excited on what this "big" feature will be

My biggest hope is that Wily Bosses will be implemented. There was always something missing in MMM and that was fortress bosses. They also shouldnt be hard to program either

My biggest fear is that they will do a 1.4 on us (have Mega Man 11 as the big thing in the update) and have something small to go alongside it. However, they did give us MM8 and Multiple Bosses in 1.5 so we dont know exactly

I kinda feel that Double Gear will be the "big surprise" of 1.6

If not Double Gear, then maybe the Mega Man Killers, who were featured in 10's DLC. This could act as a nice segue into a Gameboy-focused update in the future.

No. The main feature of 1.4 was the Wily Challenge... Which still sucked, but that was because they were copying a feature that already sucked in Super Mario Maker.

I'd personally prefer that updates from 1.7 forward just don't have the "big main feature" anymore and focus mostly on adding bosses, weapons, enemies and level objects (still in the same quantities as usual) so that it takes them less time to come up with the next update in the future. The things I look forward to the most are the bosses and weapons anyway, especially now that Metroidvania levels have been made possible thanks to the main feature of 1.5

I do want that mid-gameplay music changer for 1.6, though...

Maybe no BIG main feature but I want a music changer and multiple sky colors. Alternate colors for tilesets based on some romhacks. (Mainly the Rockman Ex Series because wow they look good sometimes.)

Thankfully tiles are some of the easiest things to do, especially if they just have to recolor existing ones instead of adding new ones. It would take them just a couple minutes to recolor one type of tile, and in just a few days they could recolor EVERY tile!

I also meant to include backgrounds as well but yeah having alternate tiles would be ridiculously easy.

I'm just excited for new assets and enemies, literally all I want is Nitro Man assets and his theme cuz god damn his theme is so gooood.

* Double Gear added
* Power Gear added for all weapons
* Power/Time Gear added for old Robot Masters

Actually happens. If not I won't be disappointed, as I'm still very very VERY excited to have the 10 and 11 weapon sets. Ohboi ohboi I wonder what weapons made the cut!!! 😍

Eh, it's not so bad... A little tweaking of features and it could be amazing.

Wasn't another surprise feature of 1.4 the Super Adaptor? I know the other two adaptors were announced not sure about the Super.

So what levels are you guys planning on making?
My first level will be just making a evel off of the new stuff.
I'm planning a metroidvania based on sheep blocks.
And a level based on the wheels.
And of course Pit of 100 trials will return with 40 more trials.
Maybe I'll do a level based off the fire at some point.
I'll have a better idea of the levels I'll be making when we get the game but those are the ideas for now.

I'm working on finishing up a alot of my Megamix series that I have been working on during the wait.

As for my final thoughts before 1.6 actually releases, I'm stoked. I can't wait. Even though I don't have to wait that long now. I personally hope Chill Man and Torch Man made the cut. Playing around with the MANY new assets is going to be a blast. (No pun intended). Especially as someone who deems Mega Man 10 as their favorite in the entire classic series. As for the surprise, well I'll just have to wait and see. I'll take ether the gear system or Music Changer.

Bro, are you on crack? The Super Adaptor literally opened up the 1.4 trailer with the rocket buster fist hitting the version number. 🤨 Then went on to be heavily featured in the trailer.

Definately agree there. Mega Man 10 is awesome!




I can feel it in my bones. The wait is not long now.
