Can we all accept the fact that it could be many many RMs? Other than bounce man and block man, ever y mm11 RM has a simil ar eye form, and when it comes down to the fact that MM10 content is coming as well, and every other game (save mm&b) has been done as well, a lot of RMs are applicable.

Then the idea that it might not even be a robot master, in which I think I'll sto p.

Well we'll probably find out what it is in 2-3 months. Thanksgiving and Winter Break are coming soon, meaning the members of the dev team who go to school will have more free time to relax and continue developing the update. When it drops, people will shit themselves, then forget about it a week later. And the world continues to spin.

In the meantime, what do you suppose we can do during the wait?

Yeah that's maroonish.

Besides, the NES sprites can have more washed out coloring then their more advanced counterparts. Look at the MM7 and 8 sprites if you want proof.

So it all boils down to if the Devs use the ingame colors, or the media (pictures/drawings) to base the colors of the sprites... plus like Brazen stated how those colors convert into the NES palettes.

Or this photo could totally be someone else's eyes and we're all waaaaaaay off. :P

I've been trying to come up with new ideas for challenges, but I really think they would be better if we had 1.6's assets (whatever they may be). I also still need to finish my next Weapon Analysis, which will be posted when that Will Smith movie comes out.

People don't want to be challenged, they want to make the same staid shit, and they want to bitch about anything that will prevent them from doing so. It's not worth your time to waste it so.

An inherent problem of players not knowing what they're getting into when they access a level. If the player doesn't like puzzles, difficult challenges, long levels or whatever then your level will get a thumbs down. Not because of lack of quality for the level, but due to personal preference of the player.

I've only played and never created, but when I do start creating I plan to add my own "tags" in the title to explain what a potential player is looking at. I'll be doing longer Metroidvania and casual levels, because that's what I personally like.

Something I suggested elsewhere that I would hope to be added to the MMM map search function is a "subscribe" feature. On the same screen where players rate a map have a checkbox that says "subscribe" to allow users to "follow" a map author that makes maps they like. Then in the search function where it has "Top rated" "Most played" etc have a "Subscriptions" option where all the maps appear for map authors the player has subscribed to. :idea:

This way niches could be filled of people who like or prefer certain map author styles of puzzle/difficult/long/casual whatever because it's what they expect from a map author. This way a map author would know he/she has an audience, and this assists the audience in knowing what they're getting.

EDIT:
As a sort of gauge of what's popular in the community, perhaps a "Most Subscriptions" option could be added as well to the map search function showing what map authors have the most subscriptions? Not for bragging rights, but again as a way to see what's really popular with players in the MMM community. :idea:

This, combined with regular feedback on a level posted to the Forums/Discord would greatly assist makers in improving their skills. Unfortunately, the latter is hard to come across for some reason. Maybe people just have a hard time articulating their experience with a level.
