That's right. Transparent means you can see through it, while invisible means you can't see it at all. So the correct term would be transparent.
nop,the correct term would be invisible,you can't see that water,and the background behind it doesn't change to "blueish".
its true you cant see the water but you can see the surface

For me it looks like that Blood from MMX2 crocodile boss

Maybe the red water is a reference to the ability to change the colour palette of water?

Swamp water, hm? Sting Chameleon's bog would be immensely welcome. Desert quicksand doesn't work for the bayou.
I'd presume a muddy variation of said sand is good enough.

Didnt MM2 have red water in the Fortress where the big fish were?

If not, then I'm still pleased with the variety, and the weird red blood pool.
