It's Proto Man's turn with the new weapons! The Commando Bomb blasts powerful shockwaves on impact and can be remote-controlled however you please. We are not responsible for headaches induced by overly tight puzzles.

Wow for one weapon this opens a whole bucket of possibilities, gonna enjoy using this in levels. Its like the Search Snake except you can control it in the air and use it for many other puzzle ideas. I also like how it "ricochets" when turning it, looks really damn nice.
Oh and those new tilesets and backgrounds look nice, especially that last background.



Oh and how are the Bari's working? Since you can have different "totem" colored parts does that mean the head is it's own unique enemy or maybe always shows up on top and then you place the totem parts...possibly.

I'm glad to see Commando Bomb make it into the game.

Also, nice reference to Dark Dizzy's stage in MMX5 on the last screen of C.B.'s showcase (and even nicer jab at the puzzle)

Based on the gif, the Commando Bomb:
  • can be turned 4 times as opposed to 2
  • uses 2 units of weapon energy instead of 3
  • can change direction immediately after firing (there used to be a noticeable delay)
I wonder if the bomb would deal more damage from a direct hit, since I believe that was the main flaw with the original version.

...Um I know you're entitled to your own opinion but another bomb themed robot master? There's already 4 bomb robot masters and also a lack of ice and fire themed robot masters.

You'll have to pray that they add MM&B content in this or 1.7 so you can get Pirate Man. I would like to get that guy too, along with Cold Man.
