I may or may not have overexaggerated my hype a bit in a recent forum post

a brand-new feature that most of you have not been expecting.
Just because it's an unexpected surprise it does not mean it's good. :(

It's very unlikely that 8 players will all agree on a plan together and build a good level in sync. Multiplayer level-editing is more of a means to troll the other players and laugh at how we make mistakes together. It's more of a means to socialize than a real tool to help build a level, and I think you've given too much importance to socialization over the work itself.

By contrast, a block that lets you change the level's background music during play would have helped those metroidvania levels with multiple themed areas to give each section its own unique atmosphere.

It's been a while, but version 1.6 is now available! It adds a good chunk of content from Mega Man 10 and 11, as well as a brand-new feature that most of you have not been expecting. Enjoy the update! Make sure to watch the trailer for more info!

For Pump Man has not added his second attack from hard mode, where he throws his pump horizontally and then catches it back. This is not as much an error as it is simply forgotten.

Well I guess, but considering that spikes and lava are the same kind of obstacle (acid especially) in the sense that you die instantly upon contact, I don't see how it could be that hard to put in. Besides, you can't make acid red to make lava so that's yet another missed opportunity.

After all this, the devs really deserve a vacation.

Online editing is something I'll probably never use, but I can see where it might be helpful for others. The thing that surprised me the most was Bounce Man, since he lacks a projectile attack and is helpless when trapped in a box, though his ability to bounce off of hard screen transition balances it out.

I haven't experimented with him so I have to ask, does he split into pieces like in MM11? That would basically be a projectile attack (though visually it doesn't look like one).

Out of all the speed gear Robot Masters him and Tundra Man were the top choices to fit into the MMM formula.

He splits when you use his primary weakness against him, though the pieces of him can't pass through walls either. Shooting him with a charge shot makes him rebound faster until he activates SG, after which he resets back to his normal speed.

Going by the two decisions of a Speed Gear RM, Bounce Man seems the logical choice. Tundra Man's Tundra Storm goes through tiles but only directly above and below him. Bounce Man is way more versatile for custom rooms (greater mobility). 🤔

They do.

Personally, I'm incredibly disappointed in this release.

Still waiting on a mid-stage music changer...

I share your pain, bro... This is the first time ever that a Mega Man Maker update disappoints me.

While a mid level music changer would of been nice, getting disappointed about the entire update because of that, is pretty damn unfair in my opinion. Take a step backwards and think all of the other additions. Both major and minor. The update still impressed me personally and I am happy with it.

You didn't have to hold back from publishing your 1.5 levels for an update you thought was coming in half the time it actually did, with the devs fully aware that the players wanted the music changer, and after an entire year end up finding out you waited in vain!
