Some level information may be skipped, even if the level was completed properly in Wily Challenge, if Mega Man Maker has difficulty accessing the server to collect said data.

Its likely caused by Mega Man Maker having difficulty accessing the level data on the server. Either a glitch, or your internet being unstable, I'd assume.

I found this game-crashing bug while making a level.
It made me lose a level i was making for 2 hours since i forgot to do saves. So uhh, please fix this.
Detailed Explanation:
Simply having a laser pointing upwards at the bottom of the screen (haven't tested having them sideways) and 2 blocks above it falling to it will cause the game crash, if you walk from left to right after the lasers are activated.
So basicly, if megaman is on a screen before the screen with this setup and walks to the right, the game will crash as the blocks touch the lasers at the bottom of the screen.

This crash is pretty easy to setup, i made a level to show it (ID 287048), and it happened to me completely by accident.
Please fix.

(Also, when will megamaker level editor get more optimized? I'm trying to make a level with lots of screens, but at this point it's quite impossible since the amount of lag every 10 seconds.)

Yea. I tested this in 1.4+. I didn't get a crash log, but it did seem to freeze the game.

This seems to have been fixed though.. :)

Is there a version beyond what i have? 1.4.2.1 is the one i have, and it freezes the game. No crash reports or anything yeah, but what do you mean about it being fixed? ^^

Yea v1.5 but it is currently still in beta testing & development. So you just have to wait a little longer. :)

It's possible to do a screen transition while you're standing and shooting, if you walk into a border while shooting, change to the Power Adaptor and immediately back to the Mega Buster. Mega Man will then go through the transition in his standing-shooting sprite.



EDIT: I think what causes this is the fact that Power Mega Man can't shoot while walking, instead having to stop moving every time he punches.
This probably makes the game thing Mega Man wasn't moving when he switched to Power Adaptor, and then switches to his standing-shooting sprite if he goes back to the Mega Buster.

Despite this SEEMING like a bug this is not. This is a side effect of spring man's programming. His arm shoots out to the screen edge and then comes back to him. That being said if you manage to hit square on parallel with him they will shoot out till the level boundary (At which point they will be deleted and he will resume his pattern). Not much we really can do here as this is a hard to achieve edge case but I will look into it as a minor one none the less to see if I can refactor and improve on it.

Using Top spin makes you automatically jump up as high as possible. This didn't happen in the original.

An oddly specific teleporter glitch:

When teleporting to a screen diagonally below and to the right, if there is a ceiling above the teleporter, you instantly die if there is anything on the screen between the teleporters. It works normally if that screen is empty.

Sometimes when I destroy dust blocks it acts like they're still there though I can't see or shoot them, yet they still block the way.

If you are turned into stone by Shade Man while sliding, when you return to normal you will stay in the stone graphic but you will be able to slide. Mega Man returns normal after unsliding.
Play Dash got back in control. Also, Minecraft Cheep Cheep!
