can we get a separate folder for levels we've downloaded?

Currently, when we download a level off the sever, it just gets dumped into the same place that holds our own personal projects. There are some levels I've played that I'd like to hold onto, but I don't wanna feel as if the game is suddenly suggesting they're mine, because they're not lol. Plus, it would help free up clutter as well. I've got a bunch of test levels sitting around in my list, and that mess plus the neat things I've saved becomes super cluttered
Assault on the Ziggurat 438537
Triple Weapon Troubles 396416
Assault on the Citadel 391765
Disastrous Factory 391968
Fighting Infernal Flames 392650
Electric Terrain 121647
Final Transmission 438545
Panicked Pursuit 170589
Triple Kaizo Trouble 251465

Yes please. I had so many downloaded levels dating all the way back to 2017, that trying to find my own levels was an absolute nightmare.

I'd also like if you could create level folders in general. Making series of levels would be easier to manage.

I agree with the post, but what about an area to choose multiple download folders to put individual levels in otherwise you will run into the same issue with the single folder that we have now.

Would be sweet is the level folder could have sub-folders, yeah.

I'm no programmer but could be simple to add?

From what I can tell, as far as the coding language (GML), it should be possible.
Re-writing whatever they have going on for all this to work in the engine in the first place, however?
That depends on how they've coded the interface and how the game is reading folders to begin with.

Usually the hardest part of adding a feature to an existing system (in this case, adding sub-directory support to the "my levels" window used for playing levels and loading them in the editor) is trying to add that feature in without interfering with the way the system already works.
In some cases, adding something like this would require a re-write of a system from the ground up.
Not likely the whole engine or anything, but the entire save/load/play part of the engine.

I really can't say how they've done it, but likely the only thing stopping them from doing it is:
a. They don't want to.
b. Their efforts are focused on more functional in-game content (enemies, weapons, gimmicks, etc.)

Sometimes a rewrite of the entire game engine is necessary when it becomes more difficult to add additional content or fix major bugs. I kind of know that from experience.
