The only SMM2 object I could see work in MMM are the On/Off Blocks

"Suggestions" for robot masters, weapons, enemies, etc., from the mainline games, that are obviously going to happen at some point, but are not yet in Mega Man Maker.

If you don't think this thread is particularly helpful, that's fine, but take my advice:
Don't take the forums too seriously. It's okay to make a little joke from time.
It's more fun to run with it and have a few laughs as long as nobody's getting bullied.

To be clear: I want nothing more than for Mega Man Maker to see more users, have a bigger, more engaged community, and for non-Mega Man players to realize that Mega Man is actually the Zelda of platformers, and anyone not playing Mega Man is missing out.
However, copying Super Mario Maker is not the way to do that.
Adding Super Arm, so we have at least one complete set of weapons, is. :lol:

Is the mid-level music changer a good suggestion or a repost? (or both?) Because some of us make 200+ screen maps divided in areas that are of different themes (i.e: a fire area, a water area, etc.) and it doesn't make sense for them all to have the same music. No to mention a 200+ screen level takes a while to complete, so you might want to hear something different after traversing the 50th screen...

There is an even better reason to add this weapon, and it's that Super Arm is mechanically unique. It would have come in handy in my Zelda 1 remake level as a representation of the Power Bracelet.

Other than that, I just want more weapons of the elements of ice, water and electricity, simply for theming and aesthetics.

On slopes, I support its addition because it can give more dimension to floor assets (Push Blocks, low-lying enemies) or playing more with the Oil Slider. However, I think that the slopes should be restricted to either generic-looking ones or appearances that actually come from Mega Man classic games. In example, I would be against a Cut Slope SL. I also think that if they are hard to program, they should be kept for later releases.

Actually, that particular suggestion, while it would be cool, is a repost that's (probably) never gonna happen.
This is because, while large levels (especially MetroidVania levels) are also cool, they don't run very well, and are clearly not intended.
Therefor, a music-changing object/gimmick is outside of the scope of the game.
Furthermore, there's very little precedent.
The only instances of this happening I can think of is in Mega Man 8 when changing from above-land to the underwater bit.
It might happen again in a couple other levels, but I don't recall.
There is certainly some possibility of this being added, but it's very unlikely.

Considering how many times it's been suggested and that it probably wouldn't be nearly as hard to make as some other custom assets, I'd say the possibility is good. It doesn't have to be applied to larger levels either, as small levels can change their theming often too. Sometimes it'd be nice not to listen to the same song while going through a level.
