The first post I made on these forums was a suggestion to allow player to change the direction of conveyor belts with a switch/button of some kind. With the upcoming 1.6 update, I think it's now possible, but in a different way.

Meet Searchy from MM10. This enemy flies across the screen, shining a searchlight along the way. If the player gets caught in it, it'll change the direction of any conveyor belt tiles on screen immediately. A simple enemy with lots of potential, though I'm not sure how difficult it would be to implement it.

I can easily see this being in 1.6, its A. right around the corner, B. its a unique enemy from MM10 and C. it honestly shouldn't be that difficult to implement!

I agree with this idea

For example it would appear on the sides like Illusian and change all conveyors on one screen. It's one of my fav MM10 enemies too
I have entered:

1.6 hype mode

So I might be active for some time here

I'd say increase the size of its Searchlight and then this would be a great idea.

Yeah I agree with increasing the size, from what i've seen of them in MM10 they usually don't get you.

Good idea. But why stop at conveyor belts?

If the next update includes Searchy, I think it should have two different palettes: blue and red. Get caught by a blue one, and it reverses all nearby conveyor belts, same as in Mega Man 10. Get caught by a red one, however, and it activates ceiling-mounted enemy spawners. Y'know, like you'd expect a surveillance robot to do.

+1 for that idea! I’d love to have security type stuff, if we get laser beams it could be used for that and other beams!

Somebody give this guy change for the phone. Because he friggin' called it! Searchy is confirmed for the 1.6 update.

Okay I'm not gonna make any more 1.6 suggestions out of the fear that I might be predicting the future.
