What are you playing?

Post by UnknownFox » Thu Jul 20, 2017 8:20 am

So aside from mega maker, what games are you all currently playing or enjoying?

Personally been playing the FFXII Remaster for PS4, been pretty enjoyable. Also been playing FFXIV (coeurl server) and when I am bored of both still working on Persona 5.

Mighty Gunvolt Burst. It's probably the best game featuring Gunvolt so far. And i like the Gunvolt series. But this game is pure Mega Man nostalgia.

I like to call that game Mighty No. Redemption.

Gunvolt actually looks pretty cool, never heard of it myself but will check it out. Closest I got to Megaman recently before this was 20XX, kind of a rouge like Megaman, pretty enjoyable too :D

20XX is a bit more difficult to start out IMO. Maybe it's because I'm using an XBox control for it but I just can't get far into it.

Transformers Fall of Cybertron for my Youtube channel.

Killing Floor 2, just got my Berserker to level 25.

Probably going to be going back to Xcom 2 when War of the Chosen comes out next month.

Fall of Cybertron was suuuch an amazing class based team strategy combat multiplayer, before Overwatch and Battleborne and such. Suuuch an amazing one. I miss it and SMNC being more populated for online matches.

Oh, yeah, the question.
-Anything NES/SNES/PS1/Genesis
-Kerbal Space Program
-Renegade X, a C&C class-based base-vs-base strategy-shooter
-Planetary Annihilation
-Used to play a lot of Monday Night Combat and SuperMNC
-With a coop friend I known from way back in highschool, been playing Borderlands 2/PreS and Portal 2.
-Little bit of Planetside2
-Should be obvious, but Megaman Legends, specifically and obligatorily.

I love Fall of Cybertron, I've had it since release on console. And then I picked it up on PC during a sale. Runs perfectly fine, but fails to tell you that when you use the teletraan store that you have to use your mouse. I use a controller.

Though I never really played the Multiplayer.

I've been on a roguelike kick, so Dungeon Souls, FTL, Nuclear Throne, Enter the Gungeon, Caveblazers, Dead Cells. They're easy to pick up and do a run then go do something else. FTL lets you save, so that's also nice for when you gotta actually do things.

As for non-roguelikes, Hot Shots Golf 5 & 6, Ragnarok Odyssey ACE, Spelunker HD, Rayman Origins, Yakuza 5.

I also got Retroarch set up, so occasionally I get into some retro games.

I'm just playing FFX for the first time ever...
...on a vita!

For some reason.

I'm also playing RE2 for the first time too.

And I started playing Smash Bros on Wii U again, and also the only mobile game i play, FFBE (Final Fantasy Brave Exvius)
I do pixel art, program and work on various game projects.

I do not accept commissions, but I can't stop you from asking me.

If you have any questions, just ask. I don't bite, nor do I deck people in the face.

Right now, I'm playing a bunch of early access stuff that's so tantalizingly close to release, it's driving me nuts that I can't actually finish any of them.

20XX is the best Mega Man game to come out since X3. I can hardly wait for it to come out of early access with actual "Wily" end-game stages in a couple of weeks.

Halcyon 6: Starbase Commander is a semi-turn-based Star Treky combat and resource management game. It's also getting a huge overhaul in a couple of weeks, so I've been holding off playing it, since I know I'll need to start over.

Streets of Rogue is another fun randomized dungeon game, a bit like the original top-down GTA games (for those who are old enough to remember), but you can only play the first 9 levels currently.

Divinity Original Sin 2: aka. the world's greatest OCD shoplifting simulator. I loved the hell out of the first one, and it took forever to beat because if it was physically possible for my characters to steal something, they had to. No matter how worthless the reward.

and Pit People, the latest turn-based strategy game from Behemoth, that plays like an episode of Adventure Time crossed with Disgaea. Unfortunately, like the others, you can't progress beyond the first couple of chapters.
