I know a lot of you won't believe me, but there used to be a way to play as Metal Sonic.

It was patched out with that update released alongside Mania Plus for some reason. I got in contact with somebody, JijBentDom64, who knew how to unlock Metal Sonic. As I said, this is pre-patch, so if you have the recent version, you sadly can't do this. Yeah, it sucks.




And as for the images themselves, they are self-explainatory!









I know you don't believe me, but find the early Sonic Mania version and try it out for yourself. If it doesn't work, you're using the new version, so don't blame me!
