With the large number of droughts this summer, we thought it was time to add rain, right from Tornado Man's stage! You can set its direction and speed, too!

Screw 1.4 were getting rain and flowers in 1.5!!!

Toad Man Rain != Tornado Man Rain

These rain effects are amazing!! And just because of it we should someday get sandstorm or snowstorm.

I wonder how rain is placed in the level editor...

It looks like something akin to how Water works, where you place a higher tile and it auto-fills downwards, mostly based on how it overlaps a Floor Light level object.

Now, the question is, can rain be placed anywhere in the screen, or only along the top row of a screen?

Regardless, certainly something new to look forward too.

I think the rain is attached to the background.

Fake Man could, however Fake Man is just a police robot that protected Dr.Light.

Yes, Fake Man is a Robot Master, much like how Dark Man 1-4 are also Robot Masters.

Oddly enough, only one Fake Man is ever fought in MM9, with a second Fake Man only ever being seen in cutscenes.
Makes me wonder if Fake Man 2 fights any differently than Fake Man 1.

Really cool addition. Aestheticly cool too, can probably be used to make a bunch of pretty levels.
Makes me wonder if you can set the rain to "no speed", making it purly cosmetic.
