After days and weeks of remodeling and planning I have finally come back to upload another level! and this time its not just going to be one.... Introducing my newest planned series!... Trash Tower!

Trash Tower was first conceptualized out of my dream to make a series of fortress type levels staring... well, me of course.. However its always been hard to really plan out how it would work, but luckily thanks to... My horrible gosh awful mistake of trying to create lore i have been able to plan out a story and concept!

Story:

Trash-Man's gone crazy and has been possessed by an.. other worldly force, and now hes taken over Wily's latest fortress! And with everyone being (somehow) Oblivious to his plans, only the powerful military corporation known as G Force can take him down now!

These will actually be some of the only levels I make where I have a character select! You can choose between 4 members of G Force to play as, including:

Gravitrax: Ice Slasher, Perfect Freeze
Diamond Wolf: Jewel Satellite
KFC Man: Rolling Cutter, Quick Boomerang
Phunguy: Black Hole Bomb
Or if you're a real Mad Lad you can go without any weapons at all!

(I'll update this list when more stages are published)

I hope you'll enjoy this series! I'ts gonna be a lot of work to put this all together, but if you guys enjoy these stages then I think its effort well spent! ;)

the level of stage 1 is cool but the boss is just too hard.

Graphics are pretty cool ! Especially those purple suspended platform, it's a good idea ! Made me thought of Sonic Genesis Wing Fortress and Flying Battery Zones.

Just one issue, I was forced to gave up because I let go of the ladder in this section and so I got trapped on the ceiling.

I'm sorry but.. how do you forget you can climb down a ladder? I'm... just asking here no offence...

In every stage i make, checkpoints are every 10-11 screens, its been a staple of how i design levels, besides the last screen which goes to 12 screens before a checkpoint, the level is consistent in that regard, but i never thought 11 screens was that long...

I accept the irony, but no it wasn't just needed to push the down button. It doesn't work that well with the fan, I had to stick on the left wall before pressing the down button to climb down.

Besides that, I really like the effort you put to make nice graphics ! You don't use only one kind of tiles.

A great stage! Even though it´ s supposed to be a fortress stage, it introduced everthing it had to offer, I loved the asteatics, and of course I went to choose myself. Each caracter has a certain playstyle to it: Gravi is about aiming your shots to avoid any damage, Wolf´ s is on the defensive side, I with a dps route where you also have to move to do the most damage, and Phun with semi-screen nuke for those pesky enemies.

Now up to the bad thing: The Boss.
It. Was. TEDIOUS. AND. BAD.
Not only the elec beams are to quick to even attack it multiple times, but ALSO it did to much damage to even survive the damage recieved to deal ONE HP OF HEALTH. This was the part where I quit, but I still gave you a like ;)

8.5/10, FIX THE DAM BOSS pls

Ill note this, thanks for the feedback ill see what i can do with the boss, i just think a primary buster weakness would be to easy, the boss is all about timing attacks, but even i end up with only a little health trying to beat it, so ill see what i can do

Update: Boss Nerf + Charge Shot

After a few complaints that the boss was too hard i nerfed it significantly, and also added a Charge shot! That way the boss becomes a LOT more manageable since your able to get in more damage per pass!

The stage is great.
Outstanding design
Good tiles used
Good enemy choice
Good uses of gimmicks
Also good music choice
Boss is ok


The boss seem a bit challenging as when I fought it I won after 1 death and 2HP remaining.

Overall its a great 1st stage and I can wait to see the next stage.
