I see the Splash platforms going through solid blocks. In my opinion, it shouldn't.

Maybe, but the gif shows useful applications of it going through walls. The object would probably be less versatile if it didn't.

It's good to have a weaker time-stopping weapon. It is easy to get a lot of mileage out of Flash Stopper, too much infact. Having a stopper where every second counts and that doesn't allow you to just shoot through enemies helps in making a weapon that's useful but difficult to abuse. That and the fact that it doesn't do damage normally helps in making puzzles with that can't just be cheesed with the buster.

I guess the same for immunity, but I don't know for sure. I would have to wait for the actual build.

I didn't realize it was that close to another anniversary.

Sadly I don't see the update being released by then, I mean the more content that's already in the game, means more checking for bugs/compatibility with new stuff working with other new stuff and the older stuff, so I see updates getting close to a year apart, then at some point if they keep working on it, over a year between updates.

I wouldn't expect a release on the third anniversary either, it's just too soon and short of a development cycle for a patch update.

Fully expecting a very celebratory in-depth preview news update like last year.

I am beginning to believe that they should hire more beta testers, given that with the low amount they have, detecting errors would take a long time.
And so you don't get confused, I am not suggesting this, nor am I complaining about the update delay, I am simply saying that bugs are somewhat difficult to deal with under-staffed.

The team hired ShallotMussels and Midas Magnezone, but the latter resigned not long ago.

About the Time Stopper, I noticed that it does not affect conveyor belts in Mega Man: The Wily Wars, but this one is unlikely to be implemented.

honestly, the splash platform is what im hyped the most about..
This can help me make some better chemical and lab themed stages, i can imagine the possibilities.

I'm glad time stopper is actually being useful now.
It was cool concept in mm2 but didn't do you much good since you couldn't stop it at will.

I'd argue that even despite its original drawbacks, it was a really powerful tool in MM2, especially on repeat playthroughs after you learn the level designs and enemy placements

The ability to just disable all spawners in which enemies spawn coming from off-screen is stupidly powerful, and can completely trivialize whole sections of various levels.

I might be picky here, but Flash stopper ad my favorite coloration of Mega Man. Why have it been changed to the coloration of Time stopper?
Beside that little detail, I like what seems to have been done with the weapon and that we're getting it. . Makes me curious of what could be done to make the Super Arm more useful.

The color change was presumably based on Time Stopper's set of colors in the concept art.
