MM11 Extra Modes

Just a thread where we can talk about the extra modes in MM11, and discuss which ones we like more than others.

I like how challenges like Balloon Rush and Medal Collector turn familiar stages into a sort of speedrun with special retrictions. Buster Breakdown is specially interesting in levels like Block Man's, since there are obstacles that can only be passed if destroyed.

That said, I think the more interesting modes are those with original content, that being Doctor Light's Trial, and the Playground stages that aren't just a boss battle.

It's easy to see that a good portion of these weren't really a challenge to implement, but in part because of that I'm glad we have them. They add a bit of replay value to familiar stages, and in games like Mega Man where the main game is short they add good value with very little. Honestly, I wish we got something like that for the other games in the series, specially Mega Man 8. The Legacy Collection challenges aren't worthless by any means, but I wish they went the extra mile and made something like this.

I wish that MM 9 and 10's Endless mode was included in MM11. It's a fantastic mode that offers tons of replay value.

After beating Dr. Light's Trial, you unlock an endless version of it. However, the rooms are played in the same order as normal.
